SoCal, your talents continue to amaze me. Is there anything you can't do with these cars?

Nice car and I like the front bumper as well.

Kyle, if your refering to the bumper and the foglights and stuff... i checked out the prices of this stuff for my own car. To have a euro rear bumper shipped from the UK would cost about $120-140 US dollars. The bumper itself usually sets for $50 US on ebay.uk, the same goes for the euro 944 front bumper though they do not show up as often. Your American style turn signals will fit fine into the bumper, the euro driving lights will probably run you roughly $60-75 US each.

Dont forget you will also need the euro style bumper mounts, they are a solid metal mount which go inplace of the bumper shocks. You can get these for about $30 for a pair. Also make sure the bumper includes those trim rings and the pads.

All said and done, you are looking at about $300 to get all of that stuff bought shipped to you from the UK. Its really not as bad as alot of people seem to think it is. If you are interested, i would recommend Franklin Hill Porsche, they sell often on ebay.uk . Glenn was the guy i talked to when i bought a number of parts (bumper pads and the hardmounts)... hes a very nice guy.

i suppose i'd need a new front lip/air dam (whatever you want to call the piece below the bumper)..

will my current front fog lights fit in the same space as the euro driving lights?

it's just such a classier look than what the north american 944's have.. in my opinion at least..

and my front end is beat to ***** anyway from the PO hitting a couple speed bumps and bottoming out on a couple road dips..

Check out some posts from Sam Grant's. I think he has a post about an Ohio meet or something currently on the list. I'm pretty sure those are 968 mirrors.

What color is your car? Are the pictures the exact color or is your camera like mine and changes the color a bit?

this makes me want to have a RHD car in the US.

Theres a professor at my college that drives an original MK1 Mini Cooper that is RHD.

A rebuild fiberglass bodied 944 with the rear turbo valence, front splitter and badge panel intake panel with 968 mirrors, Recaro seats and right hand drive. Theres a 944...

The color is Krystal Grun, or in English, Crystal Green, its a little lighter than the Mercedes Petrel Green, if that means anything. The color in the pics is fairly close to real life. If I can find any 968 mirrors in Oz I'll get 'em...... cool mirrors. (and in my past life I was a spray painter)

Have you ever seen the Recaro's that Porsche uses(used?) as an option that have the fiberglass seat back paint matched to the car? Porsche crest stitched in the seat also. I vividly remember seeing them in a bright yellow 996 Carrera 4S, where the seat backs were yellow fiberglass to match the car also with the center console.

At least I think Recaro made them. I remember reading in one of my Porsche books that Recaro was a upholstry GmbH that was bought out by Porsche? Or maybe it was a porsche company that split off to make seats for other makers as well...
