smoke or steam
Today, after washing my car, I let it run for awhile with the hood propped open. After a few minutes, I noticed what looked like a little bit of steam or smoke coming from the front of the bay, on the lefthand side, from the intercooler/radiator area.
I tried to smell the vapor, but it had no discernable scent. Should I assume it's just a little water burning off?

Yes. Unless it steams when dry, without your washing it. But anything potentially suspicious would have a scent. Or flavour...
