1987 924S automatic shifting problems
what controls the transmission as far as shifting into overdrive? I am pulling around 3500 rpm at 55 mph. I only feel 2 shifts in the car.

start in 1st, shift to second.. shift to 3rd... sounds right as autos are only 3spd... wasn't sure but i didn't think the 924S had an overdrive... could be wrong though.

I have a 944 auto and it only has three gears. I don't think they had overdrive in any of them.
