Gauge lighting/circuit
Last night I fixed my odometer gear. I must not have hooked up the connections to the back of the gauges all the way since the lighting doesn't work (it did before).
I also find that when I pull the brake handle when the car is runing, the dash "!" doesn't come on. All of the warning lights including "!" come on when the car is started. I figure I didn't get one of the 3 connections attached properly. I can't address it until I get home. Does anyone know which connection goes to which function, so I can focus my efforts? Thanks Steve

Hey Steve...you probably have two wire bundles swapped. I think the two wire connectors that attach to the bottom of the cluster are the same connector and can be installed in reverse. Not that I would have ever done anything like that! Try switching the two connectors on the bottom around and see if all doesn't work properly after that.

I don't think you can mix up the lower ones. The wiring loom is too short to reach the left side since it's attached to the middle connector as well. The connector closest to the passenger side controls illumination.
The parking brake wire had slipped off the handle (again).
