settings.
so, i'm stripping out the water pump/belts etc etc. as i'm accumulating all the parts and tools, for this job, i find i have lost the krikit belt tool. guess i'm going to replace with the optibelt, from blaszack.
anyhoo, can anyone remember the actual settings for both belts, especially timing belt when new, and for re-tensioning. i seem to remember a new t-belt goes to 40lbs, with the krikit, and 32lbs for later on ?? any info etc etc. bob.

thanks slam/mike b.
i seem to remember someone once posted a conversion factor. i believe it was to convert newton meters to foot pounds. anyhoo, methinks 37/38 is way too high for a used belt. but at least i have 2k miles to figure it all out. many thanks guys. bob.
