His seal kit is definitely a good idea. You will be surprised how hard the little o-rings that are supposed to seal are.

Eldorado, let me know how it goes and if you notice a difference. I plan to buy his throttle kit for my S as a fun Saturday afternoon project once the belt & front engine seal job is wrapped up.

I used that throttle body reseal kit this summer during my quest to eliminate all vacuum leak sources. The instructions say that the two seals next to the throttle shaft bearings will come out in many little pieces. Mine came out in many little pieces! Good directions - follow them carefully and use a lot of q-tips. The idle bypass passage will be really dirty. The only thing it does not say is how to set the throttle stop screw. I will share what I learned through trial and error as I could not really find a definitive answer in any forum as to how it SHOULD be set : Screw the stop screw in until it just touches the throttle lever while the throttle is in the fully closed position. Screw it in another half turn and lock it there. This gave me the required resolution for the idle bypass adjustment screw which should be backed out two turns from bottom. If the throttle stop screw is screwed in too far, you will get a high idle and very little effect of the idle bypass adjustment screw. Don't forget to re-adjust the throttle position switch each time you adjust the throttle stop screw.

Oh yeah. Use silicone grease. Don't use anything that is petroleum based for the sake of longevity of the new seals.
