wheel ID

can anyone ID these wheels please?

they're on an 86 944 i'm looking to buy, as my daily driver(cleaner paint, nicer dash, interior), and the 85 then get's gutted and rebuilt as a race car(has worn and ripped dash, ugly paint ain't as pretty)

seller says 17 inch turbo wheels

but they look a bit strange to me, would these be replica's?
if not, what would they be worth?

they sort of look like the ones PET has listed with a 993 number, but those in PET are 18 inch...

i don't like em, and would like to know if i can get rid of em again, and how much i'de need to add to get 16 inch fuchs..

I don't think they're factory wheels.

Something to consider is the limited availability of 16" performance tires. I have 7 & 9 x 16 Fuchs on my 911, and it's getting tough to get the tires I want. I use 17" Fikses with Hoosiers for autocrossing. The 9x16 Fuchs are valuable enough now that I could just about sell them and get another set of Fikses.

There's nothing wider than 245 available in 16".

I guess that's fine for a 944. I'm just whining because the hot-rodded 911 could use more tire in the rear.

don't need anything that wide, running 195's in the front and 205's in the back on my current 944, as a daily driver, in a wet climate, you don't really need wider then that, no ESP, no ABS, lot's of water, you really don't ...

if i convert my current one to rally/race car, then that wouldn't be a problem , i can take any kind of wheel then, as it's not about cosmetics anymore...although a set of lindsey 17inch fuchs wouldn't look bad either

that's what i figured as well
just wasn't sure if i missed out on some special series wheel or something

they just didn't look right to me , but one wants to be sure before one tells a seller and makes an ass of himself if that seller then prooves the buyer wrong ...

thanks guys
