Early year sunroof problem. 1984 944
On the pre 85.5 Porsche 944's the power sunroof locking position is operated with the key in the ignition in the off position. In this mode the you can operate the hooks to lock the sunroor or release the sunroof.
My car sunroof motor or hooks do nothing in this mode. The sunroof will raise and lower when the key is in the "On" position. What switches might be causing the problem? What might be causing this problem? Any help would help. |

I have the later year car, so I don't know what yours is like for sure. Mine did the same thing and I found out that on mine, there are TWO fuses for the sunroof. Turned out my second one was blown. If that doesn't help, then someone with the early model will have to step you through it. Also try clarks-garage.com and the technical section here at Pelican as they have a great writeup on how to fix all sunroof problems for the 944.
