1986 944NA Hoods
Just bought this car 3 weeks ago mech. sound, new belts, lower control arms, new cat and exhaust pipe and muffler, and can you believe it maint. records from the last two owners. All for $2700 anyway my question is the hood fiberglass with a steel frame cuz there is a crack in the hood about 2 inch. in length, in a semi circular pattern that looks like the hood was shut on something just above the distributor.

^^ I agree. The original hood should not be fiberglass.

Take a magnet to it and see if it sticks, the original hood is all steel.
