Engine Rebuild, ran & now wont start

I just rebuilt my motor and put it in this weekend. After hooking everything up I started the car up and she ran. After about 15 min the engine started ideling funny and dropped its rpm drastically. After about 5 min of that the engine cut out and now it wont start up again. I have checked the DME relay and it is fine, the fuel injectors & fuel pump have been checked and I have spark at the plugs. I also double checked the firing order and that is fine. I also double checked that my refernce sensors are correct along with all vaccum lines.

I just cant figure out what the problem is because I have spark and I have gas. Any ideas because this is just getting me more and more angry.

Thanks
Brian

Check the cam timing, I could have jumped timing if the belt were not tentioned correctly. Also check the sensors on the fylwheel with a scope they may not be working, you may have spark but are the injectors firing? You can also check this buy using a noid light in the injector plug. They are sold at most autoparts stores, see if the light flashes

Any metal shavings in the oil?

Well after looking at everything I finally found the culprit. The bolt that holds the insert for the camshaft to the rotor came out and therefore the timing was messed up which is why it wouldnt start. After getting the bolt back in place with some loctite she fired right up and I put about 100 miles on her today. She's running like a champ.

that tiny little bolt at the rotor... my nemesis.
