Cool - and rare - 944 ads

Thought I'd share. Found these surfing on the net tonight. Might be common ads everyone has seen before......but I never did. Enjoy.

Wow such a nostalgia rush. Techno Duck - I distinctly remember seeing similar 944 ads a long time ago as a young man before going to the movies with my dad on a summer afternoon in 1986..............

.................we were going to see a brand new release called "Top Gun".

The 944 is the 80's!!!

Theres a 30 second spot or so that includes a man reading that caption along with the famous slow motion turbo drift on Youtube, I just watched it today. Search for Porsche Turbo I think..

does anyone have a copy of the article that initially called the 944 the best handling road car made? I believe it was 'Car and Driver,' correct?

I have a road test that compares the 944 to the Camaro for the crown of "Best handling road car in the U.S.". The 944 won. I think it was Car and Driver.
