You might be able to charge a bit more if you have the timing belt done and have a record of it.

I realize you did most of your own repairs, but did you keep records of anything? A maintenance record is a big selling point.

A minor accident, if properly repaired, shouldn't hurt resale TOO much.

Timing belt should be changed at the 30 mark or every two or MAYBE three years. I let mine go to a little over fifty once when I thought that was correct and I paid the price for it. That is some pretty black paint on there...did you paint the engine bay as well?

I haven't seen inside the car, so it's hard to judge. 4K sounds pretty reasonable as a good clean car often goes for 4 to 4.5 K.

It's worth $4k or more IF the timing belt has been done. If not you're looking at an expensive maintenance bill, and the motor is at risk - bendy the valves!

Good luck though, nice looking ride

I would say $4,000 if...It wasn't a rebuilt title...
If the timing belt & water pump was done I would think $3,000...
The rebuilt title will always drop the value, no matter how good the repair work was IMHO.

The mileage helps but the title still says salvage on it and always will.

Anytime body work has been done to a 944 it can also lead to future rust, as they came from the factory with Galvanized steel that should never rust...

Is it the orig. timing belt?
If it hasn't been replaced within the last 3 years or 45k miles I wouldn't even drive it until it was replaced...

Does everything else work? A/C cold?

From that shot, looks like your a good painter though, so that will help it to be able to be sold.

Good luck!
