Testing and cats
Anybody know of a reasonably priced “test pipe?” Jesus, it’s just a straight piece of stainless steel with flanges welded on the ends. Also, what about a decent, affordable cat-back system?

just go to any chain muffler shop and ask them to cut you a generic piece of pipe.
then go to a *different* shop, and ask for flanges... then go to a welder and ask them to weld them on. asking 3 people to do 3 small jobs will put less of a dent in your pocket book.

Talked it over with a friend today and came up with a similar solution Kyle: have one made. There are a few decent metal fabrication outfits in our town, I think I'll give it a shot and keep up with dimensions/results to share with anyone elese intrested here on th forum. Geeze, a SS straight pipe for Sciroccos (a similar vehicle) from Techtonics is way less than $100. $300 plus for a test pipe? Is this a Porsche tax?
Howsabout a decent cat back system for a reasonable price?
