emblem delete?`
 

anybody know if any of the 944's came from the factory without the rear emblem, particularly the 1988S's? thx

which emblem? the rear reflector? or the rear '944' on the passenger side? or the 'Porsche' decal?

Maybe in Europe but definitely never in the US (for 944s anyways.)

I bought a 944 book by Brian Long. It's a great 944 book and has lots of photos.

Anyway, there many photos of the 944s that do not have the rear emblem. Most of the photos are of European models but even some of the American versions have the emblem gone on the "s" models. This would be the 944 s models that still have the bumper guards and not the S2 style.
