87 944S waterpump question
Hey guys,
Quick question, is there a hose that is suppose to be connected to this part? Thanks! ![]() |

i'm not familiar with the 944S that much, but on the rebuilt water pumps (and new i think as well) they all come with that piece attatched. it is of no use on the N/A, but on the turbo you have to drill it out, it is the hose adaptor for the turbo water pump.
S guys can tell you if it is of use to you on the 16 valve model.

My S doesn't have anything attached there. I am told it is only for the turbo.

I understand that it is only a port to cool the turbo if your have one. A block-off plate is necessary if there is a hole in the pump.
