Dumb question about hooks in rear cabin
 

I've got a dumb question:

There are two hooks on the inside of the rear hatchback and the sun shade does not line up with them - what are these used for.

Also, there are two hooks on the back of the rear seat that I don't know what they're are for either.

the hooks on the back of the rear seat are probably for a baby seat...
not sure where the other hooks are that you mention...

The cover for the sunroof is rolled up and stored at the back end of the hatch. The cover has a strap at each end that loops through hooks, similar to tie down hooks, and are secured with Velcro. Maybe those are the 'hooks' you are speaking of.

I have an 83 944 and have no hooks whatsoever on the back of the rear seat. The sunshade is attached to the seat.

Aren't some of them for securing the sunroof bag when it's not in use?

I believe all those hooks are for P/N 477 863 539 cargo net.

I am trying a cargo net. Found a Jetta version for now ( 1KM 065 110 A ) that is a pretty good fit for the space and connects to all four hooks. Might upgrade to porsche part someday.

Those two hooks are for securing the sunroof storage bag (when rolled up).

I have an extra cargo net if someone wants to make a offer on it. New in bag, accidentally ordered two.

They are a little over $100 new, right?

You can find them for ~80$ at certain dealerships.
