Question Does a 924 turbo nose fit on a early 944???

Does the turbo nose of a 924 fit a 944? I'm thinking about making it a carrera gt front end car on my 944 with the bumper and nose openings.

yea it does, but you're going to have to drill out your existing header panel... they're not screwed on like the later ones - they're welded on.

They are a pain in the butt to take off, probably an afternoon's worth of work drilling out the spot welds. The 924 Turbo vented nose panel is spot welded on also. It does also help to marginally increase cooling of the engine. They look nice though, i dont think i would ever be happy with the non vented look again.
