Bad Trans Mount???
Has anyone ever had a problem with their trans mount? It seems as if I'm getting some "wobbling" or "pushing" especially when I'm on the track from my rear. I'm trying to decide whether it's my trans mount or my tires. I checked the trans and it seems as if it has some play. If I bang it, with the palm of my hand, it'll move maybe 1/4" to the side and my muffler will hit the body. Has anyone else notice this? Can someone check and see if their trans has any play?
Also, are there any cons about using a solid trans mount (excessive wear on the trans, torque tube, cvs...). The car is a street/track car. It sees the track once a month. Thanks

The knee bone is connected to...
There is sufficient play in the CV's that any movement in the trans does not move the suspension. Check your trailing arm bushings.
