Improved radio reception
 

Today i had the chance to pull the stereo out. I checked for 12V to the antenna amp wire. Nothing... So i connected to another 12V source and the reception is much better. Next i need new front speakers. Can anyone tell me a good aftermarket 6"X4" to get. Thanks.

I put a set of Arc Audio in my 944. They sound 100% better than stock and a lot better than the Pioneers that I tried. They have large, heavy magnets but fit perfectly. The also have a removable rubber guard on the magnet (if needed) but they fit with this guard. I put in 4x6 coaxles and the tweeter swivels if you want to aim them (I left mind in the normal position). I've had good luck with these and the bass response is good and not boxy like the pioneers...............Vern
