Glass sunroof source?

I was wondering if anyone nows of an aftermarket source for a glass sunroof for a 944? I guess that would be a moon-roof. I have seen a few 944s advertised for sale that had them and I thought that it would be nice to have one. Was it a factory option?

Now my 87 944n/a is officially my daily driver since shes up and running. Today was her first day at work. Thought it might be nice to get some moonlight shining in on the way home. Guess I could always remove the roof and turn up the heat.

Thanks, Dave

Saratoga top - Expect to pay $800 - $1100 for one. They are very rare, and no one is making them anymore.

i dont see why you couldn't fab one yourself in the same way you would fab your own clear headlight covers..

get a piece of tinted plexiglass... lay it over top of the roof panel in an oven at a warm enough temp that would cause the plexiglass to take the shape of the panel, without melting entirely... then just come up with a way to mount it..

it'd be an interesting project..

Might try that when my project list gets a little smaller.
