If anyone in the NJ area is planning on changing their timing belt, water pump, resealing thie engine and needs a hand let me know. I just picked up a 951 and ordered my parts but would like to see the best approach to tackle this job.
I am actually looking forward to perfomring this job. I wouldlike to see first hand on the process and maybe you know some tips that you could share. TIA PS...I have been reading Clarks Garage and previous posts but sometimes hands on approach is best. |

Kevin, a million miles is kind of alot for a timing belt. 1k will suffice
.I need to do my seals when i get back in mid July. I chose to save the $100 when i did the belts about two years ago now, the engine is leaking like the Valdez from the front crank seal with the 10w40 oil i was using for the winter. I put in 20w50 and its just 'wet' now. Car only needs to survive another two weeks until its parked for a few months.
