How much fuel in tank when AXing?

My 914 won't be back in time from the body shop for my first AX this saturday, so I'm calling the 88 944 in to action. I will run ES (SCCA) with street tires, the 914 is my AX weapon. With the tank in front on a 914 I found 1/2 tank of gas help keep it more balance. So with the 944 how full should the tank be?

I have about a 1/4 tank when I race, I usually need gas once the race is over though but it works out well for me. just my .02
