I'm still alive!
...and doing well.
I know several of you have expressed concern over my health, I appreciate the concern. I was down and out for the most part of two months, but now am back on track. Still don't know exactly what the problem was/is, but two rounds of antibiotics kicked something's butt. Have to have further tests done to figure out exactly what. One doctor suggested it could be as simple as chronic fatigue, as I do tend to work too much and run myself into the ground. So I've made some lifestyle changes in that regard, less work, more fun. During my down time I fell behind on product development. Right now the 944 NA chips are all but ready for release, I'm just waiting for a dyno run to see how the AFR and performance line up according to my expectations. Lots of Butt-dyno input, all very positive. We're also in the final stages of getting a turnkey ECU exchange program together for the early NA guys. Once these tasks are accomplished I'm diving full bore into the 968 and 911 development. So far there's 30 Maxtronic units out there all doing well, so I'm going to go ahead and release MaxTune just as soon as I finish up documentation. You can expect to see promotions on every product in June. Again, I thank all that have sent their sentiments in regard to my health, that means a lot to me. I promise to try harder to stay healthy! Regards, Russell |

Heya Russell, good to know. I ended up selling my car with your chip in it. The new owner was suprised... "The last one of these I drove was really sluggish!"
Now, when you start on 964 chips, my dad's interested...

Hey Brando!
Nice, have him send email me his address and I'll send him the final release when it's done. Just waiting for another dyno on it and it should be ready to go. I'm lucky, there's a 911 shop right here in town with an endless supply of test mules, and another shop very close that wants me to work on the 964 specifically. So the 911 series should roll along pretty quickly. Let me know if you get another car, I'll take care of ya! Regards, Russell |

Thanks guys! I had to make a tough decision, after being set back by illness as I said I wasn't where I wanted to be now with product development. What I REALLY wanted to do this summer was get a car to the track. But after a long internal debate I decided that it would be better for all if I spent this summer catching up on development, getting the other series' done, and then next year I will have less development to do any mainly just sales and support. That would be a better time to hit the track, so I'm putting my car back for sale and I'll just get another one when I know I'll have time, hopefully next year. So, BUY MY CAR!
