Driver window S2 cab

I have a 91 S2 Cab- my drivers window appears to be loose - it slides back and forth and it "rattles" all the time - it sounds like the door is not closed tight but it is - I have taken the door panel off and tightened everything I can find- is there something in the window apparatus that can be removed tightened, reglued etc - and how to do -
Thanks Much

Hi, did you try taking the inside door panel off yet to take a look? The frame that the window glass tracks up and down on, is bolted to the door frame itsellf in several places. When I took mine off recently I found a couple fo loose bolts whcih when I tightened them up, rattles stopped and also the glass went up and down much more smoothly. Worth a look.

Re: Driver window S2 cab

The windows are bonded into a rubber U channel on the raising apparatus - could be it's starting to come adrift.

ok thanks- I took the panel off and tightened a few but don't think I got those - I'll give it a look but that sounds exactly like what it needs
