Oil pressure questions

I have a few questions, exactly what is good oil pressure and what is bad.

my oil pressure while im ideling stays at about 3.50-3.75 and while im crusing its at 4.75-5. im using 10w30 castrol and its about 85-90 degrees here in killeen Texas.

Im really curious because i dont know anthing about the motor that wa put in this car by the previous owner.

it just had junkyard writing on it when i got it, so i dont know how many miles it had on it.

That's right where it should be. Read this link for more info. Lots of good info for you if you haven't already read it. I spent some time one day and read the entire thing. Between reading that and Clark's I pretty much fixed everything on my car my self.

good numbers, but i think you should be using 10/40 in the summer, 'specially in texas
