80' 924 Just rebuilt engine,and head etc.
Set timing on cam pulley, oil pump marking (?) just used T.D.C. for #1. firing order right, valves set ok. Trying to start it, but it keeps back firing and fuel vapor and little liquid fuel coming from intake manifold and boots. intake gets real hot to the touch after tring soo long. im stumped and pissed. Is it possible for the car to be running backwards? PLEASE HELP. ![]() Last edited by MRcar; 07-07-2007 at 08:12 PM.. |
