Headlight adjust/aiming
My lights go up and down wonderfully, not lazy like some are, but I would love to adjust them so both sides "beam" equally, and also have the driving lights aim down the highway, and not one at the owls ^ and the other at the tarmac. I've done a quick search, and the only adjustments I can locate on here or Clark's is for the up'n'down motor, not the actual beam. Any clues?
I've fiddled with a couple of what I think and adjustment screws for the headlights, but not a lot seems to happen. BTW mine is an Oz euro.... pic below, to show driving lights (come on automatically with high beam). ![]() ![]()

Hi, Dave,
First of all, I think your steering wheel is on the wrong side! Adjusting the headlight motion is fairly simple. First, adjust the location of the rotating arm on the motor. When the headlights are up, you should be able to sight a straight line between the shaft on the motor and the furthest point of the arm on the rotating mechanism. This will ensure that you have not given up any motion. Once this is done, remove the plug on the headlight motor so it stays in the correct position. When this is correct, look at the bottom of the headlight assembly for the rubber stop. It should be firmly placed against the sheet metal there. This ensures that the headlights are in the fully upright position. If it is not touching, you should move the black metal L shaped brackets on the frame rails forward until they do. Don't overdo it or you may strip out your motor gears. Once you done that for both sides, you will be able to use a phillips screwdriver to adjust the headlight up/down and left/right. There are a couple of small holes in the black plastic piece surrounding the headlight face. One is up/down and the other is left/right. Once you are done, plug the connector to the motor back in place and check it out.
