injector flow
earlier this year, I had to directly apply 12 volts to my injectors to get them unstuck. I put them back in the car, ran some injector cleaner through, and have been driving for 7 months. I just had them checked for spray pattern and flow rates, and found there was only a 4% discrepancy between the injectors! Thats pretty cool saying as the shop testing them would have only got them within 5% of each other if there had been a flow problem.

Keep using injector cleaner and they'll stay clean forever.
I use a product called BG44K. I use this only once or twice a year as it's very powerful stuff. It's also expensive (about $24 a can). Try this in your car and you will feel the difference within 15 miles - it's great stuff. During the rest of the year, I use Redline. http://www.autobahnpower.com/products.asp?recnumber=92 |
So far ive had good luck with Lubro Moly Jectron fuel injection cleaner (my intake valves are pretty clean too), but ill have to try the redline stuff for sure :)

Probably any injector cleaner will keep them clean. I highly reccomend the BG44k but only on ocasion. My mechanic told me not to use it more than twice a year as it is very strong. You can tell it's working almost immediately as the engine starts to purr and run very smooth.

Sounds intriguing...
