All new front end conversion body kit!!!

Hello Gents,

I have been away for quite a while, mostly working 914 cars for resale, but very happy to be posting the first announcement of our Brand new, never seen before ,944 front end conversion kit.

Just out of a year and a half , R&D prototype and revision process, The kit turns your wide body front end ( Late model turbo fenders) 944 into a mostly 997 look porsche.

Believe me it looks amazing ! suits the car well, and appears factory and is made to precise tolerances, I will be posting photos within a week, and will start offering the kit for sale in about the same.

Any interested parties ,please post comments or questions here ,and after I post photos and pricing ,most likely in the classified forum I will begin taking orders and continue production.

Thanks J.C.

.... uhm I figure around ~$100K

which includes a 997 and two sided tape to transfer the 944 badge over?

:D

That's funny.

Was going to go Fiberwerks here, but will wait to see if this is any good.

Joseph,
please post pictures here. There are lots of interested parties but if they are like me, it has to be reasonable in price.

Don't you just LOVE posts like this.

I've got this new amazing product, it's the best thing in the world and once you see it, you'll NEED to buy at least 12 of them. Seeing is believing. I'll try take a picture of it sometime and show it to you.

Excellent marketing campaign.

Eldorado 08-10-2007 02:55 PM

exactly.. i'll believe it when i see it.

Why bastardize the sexiness of the car in the first place ;) lol

DVC 08-12-2007 06:30 AM

Is this for real? So you have to start with the 951 front end? I guess that makes sense.

Schumi 08-12-2007 03:51 PM

Hmm a 997 look? Already done. It was called the 968. Which is where the 993's styling came from and which the 997 is reverting back towards.

The 944 is a slantnose. It was a styling that was mirrored in the slantnose 930's, and which had started with cars like the 914 and the 935 racecars. A 944 with round exposed lights is just that: a 968.

But by all means more body kits for the 944 are nothing but a good thing (I guess.) Although some molded in rocker panels, lowering springs, 968 mirrors and door handles, and a S2 read wing make any 80's 944 look as modern as any brand new car off the lot IMO....

Gotta love those body kits!! I have had the Fiberwerks for a couple years now and it's great!!

I havn't been around the board in a while. Everybody doing OK? I have been busy w/ a Benz I bought. I recently installed a free flow LS1 Camaro exhaust and Cat by-pass, H&R Springs, drilled Brembo Rotors, Bilstein's, and some software upgrades to my ML55AMG and it's a screamer. I still love the 944 though. It basicly sits under a cover in the garage except for a couple times a month.

Glad to see some interest!

Until final photos of the complete kit are posted later this week, I thought I would post a few archived photos of the development of the headlights, trim rings, and grills, I ran across earlier today.

Thanks for looking !

impressive and original.
those headlights are too ricey for me, though....

Schumi 08-13-2007 11:46 PM

I'm impressed. I will still be a little weary till I see it without a bra and painted.

And the headlight assembly isn't a 997 headlight, which is good for cost but it doesn't look as good.
