Hi
I'm new to this board and may have a problem with my 924. I have a 1979 924 na that I had just changed shift lever bushings on - other than the difficulty I had getting to them, everything seemed to go ok (as best as I could tell - it was my first time changing them) prior to my changing them - there were no bushings present. The car shifts fine and the gear shift stays in position now, however, I noticed a vibration from about 1400-1800rpm's and then it smooths out. This happens in gear or in neutral, whether the clutch is depressed or not. I do not know if this would have existed before because the gear shift has needed fixed from when I got it. Could it be nothing or something? any help would be greatly appreciated thanks |

It is more than likely normal engine vibration that you couldn't feel before the bushings were installed. Is it a subtle vibration, or do your teeth rattle?
