Welcome to the board.

A good investment and possible cure is a new O2 sensor. It is probably due, and could be the silver bullet for your problem. Also make sure the existing wiring is okay, etc. =)

I think you could get the O2 sensor through Pelican? Who's the shipper in your neck of the Malaysian woods? DHL, UPS, FedEx? Just curious...

Thanks a lot guys, the car comes with k jetronic without lambda sensor, Would appreciate some advise on what to do next, or is this normal fuel consumption for 924 eg 5 liter for 20 km journey of normal driving.

Shipper, we have Dhl ,Ups and Fed Ex , mechanic here are suggesting a swap with carb.
Btw the picture attached is not the car it was a mistake.

Thanks again Guys

We had a 82 924 that ran without the lambda (open loop). The electronics were too far gone. Mileage was 18-22 miles/gal. How does this compare to 4 km/liter? I'd have to look up the conversions.
Pull the plugs. Are they all evenly fouled from running rich? If one cylinder is worse you may have an injector issue. It is very easy to test the injectors, the proceedure is in Haynes.
K-Jetronic is essentially mechanical injection. It isn't as good as the newer stuff. People have converted to carbs. Go to the 924 site and do a search, they talk about it there.
Bosch sells a very good book about the K-Jetronic. If you are going to do your own work it is a good starting point.
Good luck,
Jon

You would probably do better posting on the 924 site. Thats where all the knowledge is for the 924. the 924s/944 is a different animal.
