Fender and hood alignment

I had the unfortunate experience of someone backing in to my pride and joy destroyibng most of the front sheetmetal. I obtained used parts in the same color but the fit doesn't seem to be right. I wonder if anyone has advice as to how to make things fit better? Here are some pictures...

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you bought a nose panel and fender(s?) for a 944 turbo and you have a naturally aspirated 944. However, I would like to see some pics.

The hood came from one car and the nose/l-fender/l-headlight came from another car. Also note the difference in paint, enamel on the original car and new hood, acrylic on the nose/l-fender/l-headlight... Is it possible that just by removing the thick caulk where the fender bolts to the firewall and inner fender I upset the alignment enough to cause this?

In the above photos, the right headlight is in the original position.
The new left-fender/nose/hood/headlight seem to sit up a little higher than the original parts.

I'm actually interested in this as well. My 944's front is out of alignment slightly to the left, as if someone hit it or the previous owner hit something. The left headlight doesn't centre itself in its compartment and the fender is out of alignment at the passenger door by 1/4" as well.

I believe each car was hand built. So maybe each is a little different from the next?

its very hard to realign all the panels on the 944 correctly when its been wrecked. If it can be done at all without hammering on the inner sheet metal
