WHich way for the idle control sensor?
 
Which way does the idle control sensor go on a 86 944 engine?

If you are talking about the idle speed control solenoid. It is should be with the arrow pointing towards the intake manifold port underneath. At least on a 85.5 944 N/A it is this way. It is a tight fit to get the clamps tight.
