Please help...can't identify my rear Hubs

Does anyone have an exhaustive list of part numbers?? Apparently I have mystery rear hubs. When we went to put the hub and stub axle together, there wasn't enough thread left for the axle nut. The stub axle part # is OK (what Pelican lists for the '86 944). The hub part number is 951 331 607 (with an 00 at the end also). Nothing comes up on Pelican (or Google for that matter)! Please help if you could...would be much appreciated. --Chris

Well, if anyone cares I've been told that the number on the hub is not necessarily the part number (was told it may just merely be a casting number). As it turns out, the hub will fit...why it didn't to begin with? Too humiliating to relay the story.

Like I said...hub was correct; once can't go buy the number stamped on them as it may just reflect a casting number.
The part about my being an idiot? I bought this 944 with the suspension 100% disassembled. Previous owner painted a lot of components including hubs. I've only seen a couple hubs off of a car in my day (and no 944 hubs) so I didn't notice that the guy left half of an inner race attached to the hub (and then cleaned it and painted over it). Just looked like part of the hub to the untrained eye (and untrained brain). Doh!
Every once in a while I start thinking I'm pretty decent at this kind of stuff...then something like that happens
