Value of '86 951 Fuchs
What is the current value of a set of 7 x 16 and 8 x 16 951 Fuchs wheels ?
|
I would look at previous ebay postings to see what has been sold.
I sold a set of 15" cookie cutters from my 83 Porsche for $250 plus shipping. The overall condition was fair, flaking clear coat and pitting. However there wheels were straight and true with only 40K miles on them. I marketed them to people that raced 944s. My advice: Are they originals or knock-offs ?? Sell the caps separately Sell the lug nuts separately What is the condition, excellent - good, fair, poor??? Are they yours or are they from a bone yard?? Makes a difference because the value is less if you know nothing about roundness and radial integrity of the wheels. Take good pictures and provide an accurate description of the wheels including flaws. - no one like surprises. Good luck |
If they are original and in good condition, they are worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $1000.

Find the right group of people (PCA racers w/ money) and I've heard upwards of $1500 for a good set. Ernies alloys gets something in that area I believe.

Thanks Guys ,
that's what i thought. They are original with no rash whatsoever |
are they painted? polished? both? (painted lows and polished highs)
the 16's can fetch upwards of 2k up here if they're in great condition and you find the right buyer. |
It's all about patience and knowing who to sell to.

Easily over a grand.

There's a set in Panorama for $1400 + shipping, in "mint" condition. So that's a good gauge I think.
