Who's your guy?
LOL... What I mean is, I'm trying to find a local shop who is reputal and honest. I know most of us do the wrenching here ourselves and I prefer it that way too, but It'd be nice to have an expert opinion sometimes as I'm still reletivly new to these cars. What I'd really like it to take my car in for an inspection and have them give me an honest assesment of what needs to be done, then do the work myself. So, does anyone know of any good shops in the Metro Detroit area of Michigan? I live about 1 hour north of Detroit in Waterford to be exact. Thanks in advance!

I don't know of any in the Detroit area, and it's kinda long drive to my shop here in Indiana, but....
I will be in the Charlotte MI. area in a couple of weekends. If you don't mind driving to Charlotte (probably 2 hours from you) I would be more than happy to give it a once over for ya. I'll be visiting family there, so it's no problem. A couple of hours, and you can be back on your way. -Nick

There is a shop in findlay, OH that does some race work for 944 Turbos, Tab Tanner and he is here on the board somewhere. There is a place near Monroe, Mich. called Wuerth Automotive??? that does some work on all german cars.
