Were to Find 944 S2 exhaust?
Looking for a reasonable exhaust/catback for my 90 S2. Cheapest I have found was $422 for OEM while the 944S is $175. Why the $200 difference and so hard to find? Anyone have any suggestions (links) for an after market alternative that would improve performance for about the same price?
Thx Much, Mark |

Probably won't find it here in the 911 forum.

The 944S and S2 parts are the exact same. If you heard someone say they had an S exhaust for $175 - jump on it!
Had the same problem looking for one several years ago on mine. Its replacement came from an '89 S2 and was a perfect fit.

If you can pick up in Connecticut, I have a ten year old S exhaust available for pickup. Car had 60,000 miles total on it, so the exhaust saw even less. You can have the cat too. |

There's a bug right now where random posts are being thrown in the 911 Tech Forum. Ask me how I know...

Yes, it happened to me twice. Under certain conditions, the "Post Reply" button sends you to the 911 forum.
