Late ARB fitment
Ok, so following some great advice for tweeking handling on my 924-S a good friend of mine has scored a set of late Anti Roll Bars for my car.
He managed to score a 26mm front ARB. Also a 18mm rear ARB. Will have any problems fitting these late ARB's to my 87 924-S? My car does already have a front and rear ARB's, however I am running steel control arms. Also whats weird, is the vendor told my buddy that the front ARB was a 27mm unit, however when he measured the roll bar the verneir callipers came up indicating 26mm??? I thought you could get a 25.5mm or a 26.8mm front roll bar not a 26mm. What gives?? The front ARB has a 951 part number. ???

Btdt...
What year/model did they come from?
I just installed 26.8mm and 16mm sway bars on a '87 924S. Follow the link under my signature. Pictures, tips and weights.

Hey Buddy,
Wow great link and its much appriciated. My buddy picked up the bars for me from a Porsche auto jumble and he told me the front 26 arb had a 951 part number on it. I don't really know the year I am afraid. AL ![]()

If you have a part number, I can look it up.
