Got my new project - 85 na

Found the project I was looking for this weekend, an early 85 944 na. Runs okay, had been riced a bit, but already started fixing that.....anyone want a fart can muffler Had to peel off two layers of black tint off all the windows. Lucky it hadn't been on long.

Black rims are 15" fake fuchs. May stuff my spare set of 17"993 rims under her.

Have to pick the front end back up by replacing front springs, they got torched to lower them and inch or two and its way too low.

Major issue before I can really put it on the road is the botched electrical system. Probably have to rewire the front end, lights, gauges, ac, etc. as its all disconnected, but its why the car was a screamin deal.

Her are the before pics. We'll see how she transforms.

Rice rice baby.....

Guy pulled the fuse due to the electrical issues, they were partially raised. I lowered them manually after I took the pictures.

....did the PO spray-paint the TIRES?!

Glad to see the car in the hands of someone who knows how to treat a p-car. Hopefully the PO will stick to violating Hondas from now on. :P

Check out the work of the rocket scientist that had the car before me....

At least I found the wheels are original fuchs 15-7 and 8's, and not copies.......

About the headlights.

Ricers often do this to pop-up headlight cars on purpose. They call them Sleepy Eyes- and they are big in the drifter crowd.

Awesome project. I cannot wait to see the progress.

See the video at right of this site for sleepy eyes ... http://www.driftcar.net/

Botched electrical system on a riced up car? Say it ain't so! and another person who takes the Acetelyne-wrench option to lower the car....

Looks like a good project, and I agree, get something on there other than those blacked-out rims, they just don't work all-black
