Tranny Cooler

Hey guys, Im looking for a little info on the tranny coolers on the 951 tranny's, How do the coolers hook up?? How is the oil pumped threw?? Can you put a 951 cooler on a 924S tranny?? Anyone got pics of the setup?? Thanx alot guys

The transmission end cap needs to be drilled and tap for the oil return. The left side cover plate is different and needs to be changed. The plate i am pretty sure has the feed for the cooler loop aswell as the drive gear for the pump.

Honestly i dont think its worth doing on a n/a car. I see plenty of guys with Turbo track cars that delete the cooler because they leak and they have no problems.

Are you having issues? I race an NA with a few other guys racing near identical NAs, and none of us use tranny coolers. You may want to find out why you are overheating. Something's not right.

Nope Not having problems at all, Just wanted to see if it can be done or is worth being done, But it sounds like I would have to swap trannies, BEing that this is my third one LOL It wouldnt be hard to swap But I dont feel like buying a new one just to have a cooler on it. Thanx for the info guys
