RE: Bypass ignition

Make sure the car is in neutral (manual) or park (auto). Put emergency brake on anyway. Jack up the car. Find the starter under the car. Identify the 2 wires attached to the starter, there should be a skinny wire and a fat wire. Use a screwdriver to jumper between the terminals of the fat wire and skinny wire. Do not allow the screwdriver blade to touch anything but the two terminals or you will wind up creating a direct short to ground. When the screwdriver blade touches both terminals, the engine will turn over, when you remove the screwdriver the engine will cease turning over.

If you have a remote jumper switch, just connect one jumper end to skinny terminal and the other jumper end to the fat terminal. When you push the button of the remote starter the engine will turn over, when you release, the engine will cease turning over.
