volts/oil gauge readings

ok fellas

Took the 44 out of the garage (after a years of no use) whilst in the garage, was on battery trickle charge.

After loosening up and an oil change all seems ok

For past few coup[le of drives the oil gauge was hitting 5, now (last drive in to work long motorway drive) she now only hits 5 on throttle, on idle she goes down to 2/3

The volts gauge, whilst not in the red (16) stays on the 15 mark

should I be concerned ?

thanks

The oil pressure will peg at 5+ when you first start the car. As the car warms up, the oil pressure should drop to anywhere between 2 and 4 bar. Under throttle the pressure should go back up to 5 bar. It really depends on the weight of the oil your using and the temperature outside. From experience, figure 40 degrees F outside and using 10w40..once fully warmed up my car will idle around 3 bar. 20w50 in roughly the same weather will not go much lower than 4 bar at idle.

Not 100% sure about the voltmeter..typically mine stays right around 14v. I dont think its anything to be concerned about though.
