Does New Sway Bar Require Alignment

I doubt an alignment is necessary but I thought I would check.

I'm installing 968 M030 sway bars this weekend (yea!).

Lastly, can someone explain the adjustable settings on the rear 19mm bar. Which is the stiffest (closest to the end or the other side). I'm sure I will figure it out but I just thought I'd ask.

Vern,
Changing the swaybars will not require a realignment unless you remove other suspension parts during the switch, which is not necessary.

Attaching the drop link closer to the bar will make the swaybar setting stiffer.

Thanks!

Hopefully, the M030 setup isn't too stiff but because I have a bad habit of over-spending, I also picked up a set of 951 bars from an '87 Turbo (which is 27.5mm & 18mm) on eBay - so now I have both.

They're not too stiff, I think you'll love them!

I'm certain I need them. Last week I went on a PCA road trip up the mountains. I had a boxter in front of me who was hauling a$$ up the curvy mountain roads - I definately could feel the car leaning to it's limits. Next time.....we'll see.

Now that I have stock, 951 & M030 I will take a few photos to show the difference.

i don't think you will find the M030 bars too stiff

i just had even bigger ones made because i thought they were still too soft - i am MUCH happier now
