Fuel Rail Pressure Gauge Fitting
I'm just posting this so anyone doing a search can find the info much easier than I did.
In order to check fuel pressure at the rail, there is a fitting available that has a hex cap bolt on it. The size of the fitting is 12mm x 1.50. This is a very common size and a 90 degree elbow can be found in any ACE Hardware store. Once you have the elbow fitted, you can hook up to pretty much any fuel pressure gauge listed on ebay. You may need an adapter, but these are also available at ACE Hardware. You need the elbow because the intake manifold is right next to the fitting. I only found one other post that listed the size of the fitting and that was the wrong size! I'm not positive the size changed over the years, but based off of my research I don't think it did. |

I made my own adapter but I seem to remember an issue with the size being shown wrong in some references.
Lindsey Racing has the stuff for this on their web site also.
