Rust-how bad
 

Hi all,

The cab I am looking at was a back east car in its first life. There is a small spot of rust through the front driver stone guard. It is smaller than a dime and does not go all the way through. Also, there is some rust inside the door jam. This area is a little bigger, maybe a half dollar bill. I don't have any experience with body work. I know our cars are galvanized but I am trying to assess how bad things could be that I CAN'T see. Are there other components that are susceptible to rust? How involved will these repairs be to do it right. As always, thanks for any advice!
