924S clutch pedal adjustment

Anyone know the spec for the adjustment of the clutch pedal on the 87 924S? Clarke's Garage doesn't give it. I have changed the master cylinder and set the new to the old by measuring exposed threads on the shaft but who knows if the old was correct!
Thanks,
Jon

There should be 1mm of free play before the pedal action engages the push rod. There is no way to actually measure it so you have to do it by feel. Just adjust it so when you push the clutch pedal with your hand, you can feel a very slight 'play' in the pedal before the resistance of the push rod.
