Crazy Find in my 84
I cracked open the DME today after talking to Wilks about the swap and I found not only do I have a autothority chip installed, apparently the switch that I believed was connected to the alarm that is no longer being used is really connected to my DME controlling the chips! so heres my new dilema, first off i dont know if the PO just swapped in a newer DME with out the AFM, is there anyway to know? I pulled the numbers off that i thought might help from the DME hoping maybe its one of those rare socketed ones found in the pre 85.5 cars
Autothority Perf. Eng. -- 944.020.150.20 DME -- 1268-322-026-9V thanks for all your help, and is there something that I should be looking for on my AFM numbers ect. thanks everyone |
