924S Interior Refurbishment
Howdy waterpumpers!
Hey...I'm doing some shopping (always shopping) and looking at a 924S that has been kitted out like a Carrera GT, but with a ratty interior; the dash is cracked with some form of cheap, warped cover over it...the carpets need replacing...a few other things... Anywho, is there anybody who makes "new" interior parts like this for the 924 family? I suspect there isn't much of a market for them...so I'm not holding my breath. But maybe somebody doing aftermarket bits? I'm trying to get a feel for how much it would cost me to put this car the way I like it. But I have no idea where to begin to look. To be a bit more specific, I'm mostly thinking of the dash and maybe even door panels. (The car has a "brown and beige" interior and I'd prefer all black.) Would appreciate any input and/or thoughts! ![]()

For the interior work, get "Rob Rudd, 928 Leather Shop". Google it, and it'll give you is website.

Thanks guys. So we're saying there is no place to get a "new" dash or door panels?

I had my seats, wheel and dash done by Robb Budd at the928leathershop. His work is is good or better than factory. Actually better than factory. He probably can do the door panels too. Does work in leather of vinyl.
Very pleased with his work. Go on his web site: the928leathershop.com If you want I can show you before and after pics.

I'd love to see them Jim, although I don't think I need to be sold any more on the 928 leathershop! Looks like good stuff and comes highly recommended. Prices don't look too terrible either.
