Fuel Pressure Testing Questions

Installed the Lindsey Racing fuel pressure gauge last hour.

Per Clarks Garage Fuel Testing:
Quote:
  • Engine Stopped - Relay Jumpered 2.5 bar +/- 0.2 bar (36 psig +/- 3 psig)
  • Engine Running at Idle 2 bar +/- 0.2 bar (29 psig +/- 3 psig)
  • 20 Minute Leakdown Pressure 1 bar (14.5 psig)
My results:
  • Relay Jumpered: 38psi
  • Engine idle: 34psi
  • 20-minute Leakdown: 34psi
  • 40-minute Leakdown: 32psi
  • 55-minute Leakdown: 26psi
  • 70-minute Leakdown: 16psi
According to Clarks, the fuel rail pressure should be dropping to 1bar (~14psi) after 20 minutes. My car isn't experiencing this. What would cause this to happen and what symptoms would be exhibited by this behaviour?

I ask because I'm experiencing a rough idle when cold, an intermittant no-start when warm, and acceleration problems on inclines while warm.

New fuel filter. injectors not professionally cleaned, but o-rings and caps were replaced. No leaks in the fuel system. This is the first test done to narrow down where the fuel delivery problem seems to be.

Note: If you're following my plight, the intake was opened, cleaned, and dried. The TPS was drowning in oil and water as well as the J-boot, throttle butterfly valve, and mass airflow sensor. Oil was changed. These two issues may be connected but I am not sure how, if they are.
