Ashtray Light

I was attempting to replace my ashtray light with an LED. I get everything soldered in and working. So, I decided to stretch my luck and replace my cigarette lighter light with an LED. I got that working, but after I had done that My ashtray light and climate control lights quit working.

I checked my fuse box and everything is ok there. I checked the voltages on my ashtray light wires and no voltage.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram that shows the ashtray light? I didn't see it on the pelican diagrams. Or, does anyone know if I might have popped an inline fuse or something?

There are no in line fuses. The two aren't tied together into the same fuse I believe. Sounds like you did blow a fuse though.

Well, poop. I was hoping for an inline fuse (since I can't find any dead fuses in the fuse box). I guess I'll have to do some more continuity testing.

It would seem that the wires had broken where they fold under the console. A lesson that proves the value of continuity checking when your fuses are intact.
